Michael T. Morgan

Mike was born in Findlay Ohio. He is the son of a career naval officer who was stationed at Submarine Base Bangor in Silverdale, Washington, when Mike was entering junior high school. Mike graduated from Central Kitsap High School, and he obtained his undergraduate degree from Pacific Lutheran University in 1994 and completed law school at Seattle University in 1999. After law school he worked for several small practices in Kitsap County, gaining valuable experience in many areas of law. In 2004, he moved to Seattle to work for Travelers insurance as a staff attorney, where he became a major case attorney for the Seattle office. After he and his wife, Andrea, had their daughter, Meredith, in 2005, they started looking for a different pace of life. Mike and Andrea gave up their jobs and relocated to Olympia in 2011 where he joined a law school alum and started a personal injury practice. He was a partner with Morgan James PLLC until 2019. Mike joined Shirley in 2020, and they’ve been going strong since.

Mike is an avid baseball fan and was the catcher for PLU during his college years. He enjoys boating, pickleball, and hosting backyard barbeques with friends. They relax by taking their two dogs, Ruthie and Phil for walks in the woods and along the beach. Meredith is attending Depaul University in Chicago, and they visit her as often as possible.
